Here’s what you can expect:

Colour Checklist: To kickstart the workshop, we will review a range of factors that will influence your colour palette such as the direction the room is facing, when the room is mainly used, the function of the room, the personalities of the users, the size of the room, the mood of the room and the setting. A range of colour palettes will be discussed.

Colour Psychology and Harmony: Explore the psychology of colour and learn how different hues can evoke specific emotions and moods. Discover the art of creating colour palettes that harmonize and elevate your space.

Crafting Mood Boards: Master the art of visual storytelling with mood boards that capture the essence of your design vision. Learn how to curate images, textures, and materials to communicate your ideas effectively.

Manual and digital options will be explained and participants can decide which one they want to practise. A working knowledge of PowerPoint is required and the use of a laptop to create  digital moodboards. Additional free picture background removal tools are used to create 3D effects.

Materials: All materials are supplied – just bring your curiosity and creativity! The masterclass is very interactive where participants work on activities discussed using a range of materials such as colouring pencils, magazines, paint cards, sample finishes.
